Kalyja Rain

Born a feral child of the midwest plains, Kalyja (Kah-lie-juh) Rain wrote her first song at the age of eight with a purple crayon under the light of a midnight moon. Initiated by the wild darkness of that night, she captured the spark of her undomesticated soul. Every note of Kalyja’s music is a distillation of two+ decades of living beyond the boundaries of expectation and convention – a world where untamed fantasy pours into the empty cup of new possible realities. Her mesmerizing lyricism will incite the rebel in your bones and coerce your body to move and groove beyond its imagined limitations.
