Dani Kraft’s journey started with a simple love for music—the feeling when a song plays and, for a few minutes, you’re transported into a blissful state of presence. The ultimate meditation.
In 2016, she moved to Los Angeles and dove headfirst into the music industry, gaining experience in artist management, PR, touring, and more. A pivotal moment came when she met the members of Karmic working a Sofar Sounds show—a connection that led to a management role and, soon after, the launch of Bad Owl Records, built alongside this chosen family.
Since Bad Owl’s inception in 2018, Dani has been at the heart of sync licensing, discovering a true love for the intersection of music and visual media. She has cultivated deep relationships with music supervisors and licensing creatives, many of whom have become close friends and collaborators. With an intuitive ear for where a song belongs, she has secured countless placements across TV, film, trailers, and advertisements, including Grey’s Anatomy, Katy Keene, Sex/Life, Fight Night, the Daddio trailer, Cholula Camping, and more.
Dani finds inspiration every day—whether she’s in the studio with a Bad Owl artist, binging a TV series and Shazaming every song, tearing up in a movie where the soundtrack just hits, or discovering a brand campaign that moves her. Her passion for connecting creators, music, and film to tell powerful stories is limitless.
Beyond sync, Dani helped launch Bad Owl’s event series, curating both intimate and large-scale gatherings that bring together clients, fans, LA’s favorite brands, and the music community. These nights have become a cherished space for connection and celebration—and you’re always welcome!
